Job Title:  Undergraduate student experience advisor.

Job Duties:  I work with undergraduate business students on academic course selection and study-abroad experiences, and teach two sections of the School’s first-year development program.

How long have you worked at GW:  A little over two months.

What’s best, so far, about working here:  The staff, faculty and students have all been wonderfully welcoming, and it is exciting to work at an institution where students are invested in their education.

Where did you grow up:  Born and raised in Dallas, Texas.

Family:  I have two great brothers, an awesome mom and dad, and two beagles.

Any hobbies?  I love going to the movies, shopping, black-and-white film photography, and reading a good “chick” novel.

What do you enjoy doing on the weekend:  A good weekend usually consist of DVR catch-ups, some baking and a new adventure around the District or Virginia as I continue to explore my new home.

Favorite vacation spots:  Cozumel, Mexico, has become a third home for my family over the years — can’t go wrong with sunshine and Mexican food.

A favorite book:  The books series Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin is a favorite — the book is much better than the movie.

A favorite movie:   “Wedding Crashers” never gets old!

A favorite food:  chips and queso.
