Mark Hyman

Mark Hyman, assistant teaching professor of management and tourism studies and the author of three books on youth and sports, was a featured commentator in an article in The New York Times’ “Room for Debate” section on the impact of sports on children.

Hyman was interviewed about the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles on WYPR-FM, a Baltimore public radio station.  The interview is in two parts, go here and here.

Hyman was quoted by The Associated Press (10/1) for a story on sports parents who were uncoordinated or poor athletes as kids.

Hyman’s book Until It Hurts:  America’s Obsession with Youth Sports and How it Harms Our Kids was featured on a Fox News’ Fox & Friends segment.
