The GWSB Center for Latin American Issues hosted University of Chile graduate students for a weeklong course of study that served as a capstone to their MBA programs.
Ninety MBA students were here for the program, which included lectures on such topics as global business strategies, international finance, innovation in business, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability in business.
Classes were taught by GWSB professors, including Jennifer Griffin, chair of the Department of Strategic Management and Public Policy and director of the Institute for Corporate Responsibility’s Global Stakeholder Strategies Program, and key administrators, including Meghan Chapple-Brown, director of GW’s Office of Sustainability.
The students visited companies and institutions in the Washington, D.C., area, including the National Geographic Society, Lockheed Martin and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
