GWSB alum and donor R. William Douglas, BBA, ’63, and Eileen Douglas, enjoy a pre-concert tailgate party during GW Alumni Weekend 2013.

GWSB welcomed alumni for 2013 Alumni Weekend festivities and panels last month, including the annual Ramsey Student Investment Fund conference that drew some 100 alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to hear keynote speaker Lawrence Cunningham, the Henry St. George Tucker III Research Professor at GW Law and director of GW’s Center for Law, Economics and Finance (C-LEAF) in New York.

The $1.9 million Ramsey fund, a stock portfolio, is managed by MBA students.  A GWSB pre-concert tailgate and reception on Friday evening had record-breaking attendance, with over 160 guests.  Other events included a panel honoring 20 years of executive education at GWSB, and special five- and 10-year MBA reunions.

Two of the School’s deans, Liesl Riddle, associate dean for graduate programs, and Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, associate dean for undergraduate programs, socialized at the tailgate.
