Tom Buontempo, BBA, `03, was named one of the 30 “most creative social media marketers” by Business Insider.
The top marketers were selected through research and from nominations sent by industry peers and competitors. Rankings account for type and size of clients, history of innovation, respect in the field, and the “ability to get talked about months, if not years, later.”
Buontempo is chief business development officer and co-founder of kbs+ Content Labs. He was previously head of digital engagement, and worked with such clients as American Express, BMW and AOL. Buontempo is credited with extending the social footprint of BMW on social media, and helped American Express launch a group for small business owners on Linked In.
