Salah Hassan

Salah Hassan, professor of marketing, and Hamed Shamma (GWSB, PhD, `09), assistant professor of marketing at the American University in Cairo, published the article, “Customer-driven benchmarking: A strategic approach toward a sustainable marketing performance,” in Benchmarking: An International Journal, Volume 20 Issue 3, 2013, pp.377 – 395.

Hassan and Ehab Abou Aish, associate professor of marketing at The German University in Cairo; Sally McKechnie, associate professor of marketing at Nottingham University; and Ibrahim Abosag, lecturer in international marketing at Manchester University; co-authored an article, “The mystique of macro-boycotting behavior: a conceptual framework,” published in the International Journal of Consumer Studies, Volume 37, Issue 2, 2013 pages 165–171.  The paper examines consumers’ behavioral intentions when participating in `macro boycotting’ campaigns within the context of an Arab country.
