Report Highlights Progress on UN Education Principles

The School of Business’ 2013 report on implementing the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is out. To read it, go here.

GWSB was one of the first institutions to endorse the PRME, which were inspired by the United Nations Global Compact. The compact is an initiative to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.

The PRME are intended to inject a greater sense of responsibility and sustainability into business education. The aim is to train future business leaders to better meet the evolving challenges of society and business in the 21st century.

Endorsement of the principles if voluntary.  Signatories file progress reports on how they are implementing them via curricula; research and teaching methodologies; and institutional strategies.
