Despite copious amounts of rain and humidity this summer in the Washington, D.C., area,  the GW summer softball season is well underway, with the School of Business’ team – “Mind Your Own Business” – scheduled to take the field twice this week.

The University’s summer softball league is funded by Colonial Community, which provides activities and resources designed to promote GW employees’ health and wellness.

Run by the Office of Campus Recreation, the softball league is designed to give GW faculty, staff and student employees from offices and departments across the University a chance to get to know one another as they meet in friendly competition.

The league runs through Aug. 15, 2013. All games are scheduled to begin at 5:30 or 6:30pm on the varsity softball field on the Mount Vernon campus.
