The spring 2013 Financial Literacy Seminar Series (FLSS) at GWSB kicks off Thursday, March 7, with a presentation by Howell E. Jackson, professor at Harvard Law School.
Jackson will offer an overview of an upcoming paper, “Retiree Out-of-Pocket Healthcare Spending: A Study of Consumer Expectations and Policy Implications,” co-authored with Allison K. Hoffman of the UCLA School of Law. The paper is scheduled for publication in the American Journal of Law and Medicine this spring.
Jackson’s presentation will take place in the 3rd floor of GW’s Marvin Center, 800 21st Street NW, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow from 5 to 6 p.m. in room 308. To RSVP, go here.
The FLSS is a joint initiative of the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and the Global Center for Financial Literacy at GWSB. During the spring series, seminars will be convened every other Thursday.
