Shejal Desai Carpenter, BBA, ’98

Shejal Desai Carpenter, BBA, ’98 has been named project lead for the World Children’s Initiative’s Heal-a-Heart medical mission trip to Uganda. The initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare and education systems for children in developing areas worldwide. Carpenter will plan and lead a volunteer mission aimed at helping the Ugandan Heart Institute (UHI) make improvements and advance toward its goal of becoming a world-class children’s cardiac facility.
