Sanjay Jain

Sanjay Jain, associate industry professor of decision sciences, presented the paper “Supply Chain Carbon Footprint Tradeoffs Using Simulation” at the 2012 Winter Simulation Conference.  The paper was based on collaborative research done during Jain’s sabbatical last year with co-authors Bjorn Johansson, associate professor at the Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and his PhD student, Erik Lindskog.  The Winter Simulation Conference is the premier conference for discrete event simulation and its applications.  Jain also served in the program committee for New Methods in Manufacturing Simulation track for the conference.
