Lisa Delpy Neirotti

Lisa Delpy Neirotti, associate professor of tourism and sport management and director of sport management programs, returned from a week in Brazil, where she joined a U.S. State Department mission to share best practices on hosting the World Cup and Olympic Games.

The mission visited Sao Paulo and Brasilia, where participants met with Thomas A. Shannon, Jr., the U.S. ambassador to Brazil, among other diplomats, and representatives of private business groups and government tourism and sport ministries. The mission was organized by State’s Office of the Special Representative for Global Intergovernmental Affairs.
