Jorge Rivera
Jorge Rivera, associate professor of strategic management and public policy, presented the paper, “The Influence of Partner Selection and Organizational Control on the Corporate Environmental Responsibility of International Joint Ventures: Evidence from Trinidad and Tobago,” at the 2012 Policy Sciences meeting in Canada. The paper was written jointly with Kalim Shah of York University in Toronto, who researches climate change policy and corporate sustainability and is a research associate with the Center for Corporate Governance’s Graduate School of Business at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad.
Rivera also presented the paper, “Environmental regulations and multinational corporations’ foreign market entry investments,” at the policy sciences meeting. The paper’s co-author is Chang Hoon Oh, Beedie Research Fellow and associate professor of international business at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.
