Donald Hawkins

Eisenhower Professor of Tourism Policy Donald Hawkins gave a presentation, “Bridging Theory and Practice,” at the first meeting of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Knowledge Network in the Americas in Campeche, Mexico, on Oct. 23.  The meeting focused on the new guidelines adopted by the UNWTO to develop the network, and actions carried out by Mexico to integrate the Mexican chapter. Hawkins is special advisor to the UNWTO secretary general for the Knowledge Network.
