William Halal

William Halal, GWSB professor emeritus, meets with colleagues on his annual tour of Southeast Asia.

William E. Halal, professor emeritus of management, technology, and innovation and visiting professor at Bangkok University, taught doctoral candidates in the University’s Knowledge and Innovation Program during his annual trip to Southeast Asia in August and September.

In Singapore, he spent three days consulting for a number of the government agencies on forecasting, the technology revolution and the “Global MegaCrisis.” In Kuala Lumpur, Halal keynoted a conference on Emerging Technologies sponsored by the Academy of Science Malaysia. Halal is the president of TechCast, LLC, a virtual think tank that tracks developments in technology.
