In Memoriam: James Lynch Jr., GWSB BA, `50
James Lynch Jr., GWSB BA, `50, of Rockville, Md., a banker who worked for Suburban Trust Co. in Silver Spring, Md., died of congestive heart failure Sept. 4.
Lynch began working at Suburban Trust shortly after earning his business degree. He was a consumer loan officer and managed the automobile loan department. He also worked for Riggs Bank.
Lynch was born in Baltimore and moved to the Washington, D.C., area in the 1930s. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army in England.
