Chilean MBA Students relax in a 7th floor lounge at GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs. The students were here for a weeklong international business seminar taught by GWSB faculty.
More than 60 MBA Students from the University of Chile in Santiago took lessons in international business from GWSB faculty this month.
The students came for a weeklong seminar run by the School, where they were hosted by the Center for Latin American Issues. The seminar is required by the curriculum of their university.
The students are wrapping up their studies and are scheduled to receive their degrees at the end of this year or in early 2013, said Jimena Covarrobias, who works for the University of Chile and coordinated last week’s trip.
GWSB has been hosting visiting Chilean business students for the past several years. Last week, another group of about 30 MBA students from the university took part in another business seminar also taught by the School’s faculty.
