Bradley Shear, adjunct professor of sport management, attorney and social media expert, spoke to KEYE-AUS (CBS) about the impact of social media on the 2012 presidential election.

Shear was quoted in a story in the Wall Street Journal’s Law Blog (8/22) about the California Senate’s passage of a social privacy bill.

Shear was also quoted on Mashable.com (8/21) about the California Senate passage, and in another story (8/20) on whether universities should be allowed to monitor student athletes’ online through social media accounts or contracts with third-party companies.

Shear was quoted by the Associated Press (8/21) and the Louisville, Ky., Courier-Journal (8/20) on two Kentucky universities’ use of software to monitor athletes’ social media behavior.
