Alumni Weekend is Here!

Among the upcoming events during the university’s alumni weekend, GW Trustee Lee Fensterstock will deliver the keynote address at the 6th Annual Ramsey Student Investment Fund Conference this Friday, September 28.

The annual conference provides an update on the Ramsey fund – a $1.5 million long-only, stock fund managed by MBA students enrolled in GWSB’s applied portfolio management class.

Since its establishment in 2005 through a $1 million endowment gift from GW Board of Trustees Chairman W. Russell Ramsey, BBA, ’81, and his wife, Norma G. Ramsey, the class and fund have provided more than 250 students with the opportunity to learn practical investing skills.

Fensterstock is chairman and CEO of Fensterstock Associates, a company formed to invest in the financial services industry. Prior to forming Fensterstock Associates, Fensterstock was the founding chairman and CEO of Broadpoint Securities Group.
