Legacy Promise @ East London – Transportation
One of the legacy promises from the games dealt with transportation to and from East London. LOCOG’s legacy promises were one of the main reasons why London won the 2012 games. A big component of those promises dealt with transportation, and the revitalization of East London.
The picture below shows the recently developed Stratford Tube Station and the entrance to the Olympic Park. Now, London-ers will have the opportunity to access all of East London and the rest of the Olympic park for years to come.
Transportation during the games was very smooth, and far exceeded many other’s expectations.
