Olympic Crop Circles??

Sometimes it can be a bit tough getting excited for going to new places and experiencing new things when your “To Do” list is lingering over your head.  For this very reason I don’t think I usually begin to get excited until I’m sitting on the plane and can finally say for sure that I’m on my way.  For this particular trip, after securing my seatbelt I got a jumpstart of excitement.  Overhearing conversations of parents, siblings, and loved ones headed to see their athlete compete really got me excited for what I was about to experience.  Finally, as we began our descend towards the London Heathrow Airport, I was welcomed by the Olympic Rings that were etched in a nearby field, and they even had the various lines and angles incorporated into the London 2012 signage.  I was officially excited!
