Bolting at the Tri Wizard Cup

As a huge Potter fan, I took the opportunity of being in the area to visit the newly opened Warner Brothers Studio Tour located about 20 miles northwest of London. It was apparent by the apparel of the others walking through the studio with us that many were Olympic tourists as well. The tour was running a little social media promotion where it would retweet fun photos of fans “bolting” (mimicking Usain Bolt’s “To Di World” victory pose) next to the Tri Wizard Cup. The prop represents the equivalent to a gold medal in the books for wizard competition that takes place every 4 years. The tournament not only celebrates the best demonstration of magic ability, but it also serves as a base for building international cooperation in the story. This thread of competition and bringing together different cultures ties it well to the Olympic Movement and makes it a great promotion to run while so many visitors were also here attending the Games.   - Amanda Lewis
