sustainability all the way

When we were at the Olympic Park, we did the Sustainability Walk with the tour guides. It was reassuring to hear about all the true efforts that were made to regenerate the area, clean it up, build sustainably, bring wildlife back to the area, generate clean energy. They were also able to do while considering aesthetics, leaving open green spaces, and creating little refuges by the river for tourists wanting to escape the Olympic crowds.

Here is our group posing for the mirror, very ingeniously placed under one of the bridges… whuddthunk it, no?
