Where’s the music?

With London being the iconic producer of music, it seems strange that the Olympics are void of vibrant sounds.  The excitement around the Olympic venues could be dramatically improved by playing the official 2012 Olympic theme song (Survival by Muse) or music from English artists such as the Beattles while spectators enter and exit stadiums or even at tube stations.  With few exceptions (e.g., beach volleyball), the only music heard are freelance musicians in a corner of the tube station or Chariots of Fire played during the medal ceremonies.
London has so much culture to share I am surprised they are hiding it – especially considering the three pillars of the Olympic Games are Sport, Culture, and Environment.
