Russia Park makes me feel like a kid again

Do you ever see an image that takes you immediately back to your childhood? Today for me it was a giant Russian doll sculpture in the Kids Zone section of Russia Park, the Russian Olympic Committee house. Russia Park promotes tourism to Russia with both images of the country, photo opportunities, games and a kids zone. Although my family is both Polish and Hungarian on my father’s side, my grandmother gave me a Russian doll when I was a kid to play with on one of my birthdays. I had the doll for my entire childhood, until I passed it along to my cousin. When I saw the giant Russian doll sculpture today in the Russia Park Kids Zone I knew I had to take a picture.

I guess if my experience in Russia Park leaves me with positive memories and a feeling of happiness then the Russian Olympic Committee is definitely contributing to Olympic visitors having positive feelings towards Russia with the help of the park.
