McDonald’s Goes Green

McDonald’s has built two fast food restaurants inside of the Olympic park, one of them being the largest in the world.  However, even though there are chains all over the world, people are still lining up to eat at this one.  And with good reason.  This particular restaurant is a tourist attraction all on it’s on.  It has a big focus on sustainability with a wooden clad store-front, wooden seating and wood floors.  The store’s recycling system was so extensive, it took us several minutes to discard all of our waste.  The inside of the store is light, bright and extremely clean.  The second floor of the building has outdoor seating with beautiful views of the park.  It’s truly unlike any other McDonald’s in the world.
