Olympics rings in Edinburgh

I went to Edinburgh,Scotlandlast week. The city has almost no decoration related to London 2012 Olympics, except for the huge Olympic rings on the Mound inEdinburgh(near theEdinburgh Castle).  At 26 ft high and almost 60 ft wide, the rings are clearly visible. You can see the rings when you travel into the city by train. LOCOG first planned to set the rings on theEdinburgh Castle, but this proposal received a lot of negative reactions. People thought it would cause damage to the heritage of the city.  So LOCOG relocated the rings to the Mound inEdinburgh.
