GWSB Students Offer Ideas to Boost D.C. Economy

Sixteen students from GWSB, American University, Georgetown University and Howard University were awarded a summer fellowship, under the guidance of Dean Doug Guthrie, to craft a five-year economic development strategy for the District of Columbia. Focusing on practical recommendations to spur new growth in D.C.’s economy, the students will present their report to the Office of the Mayor in August.
