Dean Doug Guthrie was among the panelists who participated in the annual Academy of International Business conference co-hosted by GWSB and the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business this past weekend in Washington, D.C.
The theme of the four-day conference was “Rethinking the Roles of Business, Government and NGOs (non-governmental organizations) in the Global Economy.” The annual conference draws business scholars from across the globe.
Dean Guthrie was one of four business school deans from the Washington, D.C., area who spoke Sunday on incorporating “non-profit and government actors in global business education.” The panel’s other business school deans were G. “Anand” Anandalingam of the University of Maryland’s Smith school; Michael Ginzberg of the Kogod School of Business at American University; and Jorge Haddock of George Mason University’s School of Management.
The complete conference program, proceedings and other details are available on-line through the Academy’s web site.
