Reflections on China and Taiwan: Deriving Critical Social, Political and Business Lessons

Cross-strait relations between China and Taiwan continue to rank high on issues of importance in the Asia-Pacific region.  GWSB Dean Doug Guthrie will hold a talk on the subject, utilizing his extensive knowledge of Chinese culture and economics.  Guthrie will discuss the critical social, political and business lessons to be drawn from the China-Taiwan relationship.  The event is open to members of the GW community.  RSVP here.

  1. Can’t wait for this event. We often read superficial or U.S.-slanted news regarding China and Taiwan, but it will be great to get the inside opinions of someone who is known for having a more realistic understanding of this landscape.
