Real Estate Event Highlights Square 54
GWSB’s Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis hosted a program on April 26 for students and alumni focused on the completion of the Square 54 project, which revamped GW’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood with new housing, retail and office space.

Panelists including Alicia Knight, GW’s senior associate vice president for operations; Charles Barber, GW’s deputy general counsel; Jake Stroman, vice president of development at Boston Properties, the Boston-based Square 54 developer; and Mike Wolksi, senior project manager at Clark Construction Group, LLC, the Bethesda, Md.-based company that built the project, discussed zoning, financing, neighborhood opposition and construction challenges.
