Sanjay Jain

Sanjay Jain, associate professor of decision sciences, presented the opening keynote address at the first International Simulation Conference of India held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mumbai, India.  His talk on,  “Simulation: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” provided an overview of simulation techniques and delved into major application areas including manufacturing operations and homeland security.  Jain presented simulation applications addressing manufacturing systems, supply chain operations and major domains within homeland security, including critical infrastructure systems, incident management, health care systems and hazardous material releases.
