Career Center Series Features Venture Capitalist
The second session of the F. David Fowler Career Center’s “Networking + Speaker” series featured a presentation from Mark Levine, managing director of Core Capital Partners, on “Trends and Opportunities in Venture Capital.”
Levine, ‘MBA, ’78, and a member of the School’s Board of Advisors, provided an overview of Core Capital’s success as a venture capital firm specializing in the technology industry. The firm has earned returns for its investors primarily through its expertise in the technology market and its relationships with high-tech companies.
Levine’s presentation was followed by a networking session with representatives from local employers. The event was co-sponsored by the D.C.-area alumni chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for business students and scholars.
