Isaacson to Discuss His Biography “Steve Jobs”

March 19, 2012

EVENT:

The George Washington University School of Business will host the Aspen Undergraduate Business Education Consortium, designed to better integrate liberal learning into undergraduate business education. Aspen Institute president and CEO Walter Isaacson will keynote the event. He will discuss his biography “Steve Jobs” and Mr. Jobs’ love of the humanities, his ability to stand at the intersection of science and the humanities as well as Apple’s financial success and famed design sensibilities.

BACKGROUND:

In “Steve Jobs,” Mr. Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Mr. Jobs’ professional and personal life. “Steve Jobs” is drawn from more than 40 exclusive interviews that Mr. Isaacson conducted with Mr. Jobs over the course of two years – as well as with family members, colleagues, rivals, friends and adversaries. The book spans Mr. Jobs’ entire life, the private and the public, covering exclusive details on his childhood, early influences of Buddhism, tales from inside his design studio, vision at Pixar and innovative spirit at Apple.
