Real Estate Event Highlights Commercial Development

Stanley Sloter spoke to alumni and students at a real estate event held at GWSB.

More than 50 alumni and students attended a student-hosted event at GWSB this month that featured a presentation by Stanley Sloter, a real estate developer, adjunct professor of Real Estate and member of the advisory board for the School’s Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis.

Sloter spoke about “Creating Value Through the Development of Commercial Real Estate.”  Dean Doug Guthrie made welcoming remarks.

Sloter is the president and founder of the Paradigm companies based in Arlington, Va., which have developed more than 8,000 urban and high-rise residential apartments.

The event was the first hosted by the new Real Estate Investment and Development Organization (REIDO), a student group, in conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton real estate club.
