GWSB Spring Career Fair Draws Hundreds
More than 300 students attended the GWSB Spring 2012 Career Fair organized and hosted by the F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC).

Hundreds of students took advantage of the opportunities offered by the GWSB Spring 2012 Career Fair.
The event last month drew recruiters from 30 organizations representing the financial services, government, advocacy, consulting, technology and communications sectors.
The fair was organized for GWSB undergraduate and graduate students in response to requests from recruiters for access to students trained in business, said Gil Yancey, the Center’s executive director.
“We hope both employers and students have a mutually productive experience matching available internship and regular employment opportunities with the students’ passions, interests and competencies,” Yancey said.
Career fair opportunities help students gain confidence as well as information, said Sylvan Von Burg, a Center consultant.
“It’s an ideal opportunity for networking, meeting recruiters and chatting with them,” Von Burg said.
