Merv Conn

Merv Conn, 91, a prominent Washington-area accordionist who received a 1940 accounting degree from Benjamin Franklin University, now GWSB, died Dec. 20 at the National Lutheran Home in Rockville, Md. Conn played the accordion at the White House and at Washington Senators baseball games. He gave private lessons, at one time employing five instructors who taught more than 300 students a week, and personally taught President Nixon’s two daughters to play.
