Joelle Davis Carter
Joelle Davis Carter, the School’s director of undergraduate programs, was awarded the 2011 Melvene Draheim Hardee Award by the Southern Association for College Student Affairs.
The award recognizes contributions to student personnel work by an association member. Carter has been a member for 12 years and currently serves as chair of their fundraising foundation.
She was recognized for her contributions to the School’s First-Year Development undergraduate research programs.
The Southern Association for College Student Affairs association is an independent, regional association designed for the professional development of educators and others who work in student affairs professions. It includes members from the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
