GWSB Reception Connects MBA Students with Influential Business Women

GWSB hosted “Women at the Intersection of Business and Society,” a recruitment event for prospective MBA students, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel In Washington, D.C., to connect students with influential business women.

The forum highlighted the leadership role of women in business and society, illustrating how decisions made in one sphere can affect the other.


Prajakta Chitre, a panelist at a GWSB recruitment event for prospective MBA students, chatted with attendee Kristin Isabelle.

Panelists included:  Lorraine Lavet, BBA ’81 and MBA ’83, senior client partner at Korn/Ferry International; Prajakta Chitre, Global MBA candidate and president, National Association of Women MBAs GW Chapter; Sandra Sieber, MPA ’81, director of the U.S. Army Contracting Agency; Angela Van Croft, MBA ’97, donor relations officer at AIDS United; Nandini Harihareswara, MBA/MA (International Trade and Investment Policy) ’07, team leader, mobile solutions, U.S. Agency for International Development Office of Innovation and Development Alliances; Sharon Oliver, MBA ’82, co-founder and principal, Meany and Oliver Companies, Inc.
