Wenjie Chen, assistant professor of international business, won the Best Paper Award on Emerging Markets at this year’s Academy of Management, International Management Division. The winning paper, “Milking the Rich Cow Dry? Cross-Border M&As by Developing Country Multinational Companies,” was co-authored with Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra from Northeastern University. The prize was sponsored by GWU-CIBER.
