Ronald D. Brown, MBA, ’62
Ronald D. Brown, MBA, ’62, passed away on Sept. 6. A WWII U.S. Navy veteran, Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State. His career, always involved with electrical equipment, began in sales and grew over the years into general management.
Brown traveled the world on business, including visits to India and Pakistan. He and his wife lived in Saudi Arabia at one point, where he opened up the Middle East market for his company. He settled in Washington, Mo., in 1983 as president of Pauwels-Chance. He retired in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, La-Mona; three sons, Stanley Brown and wife Carolyn, North Muskegon, Mich., Wesley Brown and wife Debbie, Sandy, Utah, and Charles Brown and wife Meri, Bellvue, Wash.; one daughter, Natalie Reed and husband Homer, Woodridge, Ill.; one brother, Stephen Brown and wife Peggy, Bountiful, Utah; one sister, Carol Smith and husband Cal, Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
