In October, the GW Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) and the International Council of Small Business (ICSB) will jointly host the 2nd annual Global Entrepreneurship: The Latest Research on Business Creation conference, which will include workshops and presentations on the subjects of emerging forms of entrepreneurship, nascent entrepreneurship and globalization and its impact on entrepreneurship. Conference participants will have an opportunity to engage and interact with colleagues and partners representing the World Bank, the Kauffman Foundation, VISA Inc. Small Business, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Panel Study of Entrepreneurial Dynamics (PSED), the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) and other prominent organizations.
The inaugural 2010 conference yielded author presentations from 14 different countries. Summary reports, PowerPoint presentations and further information from last year’s event can be found here.
All conference sessions will be held on the GWSB campus. A gala dinner hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Chamber’s Hall of Flags building in downtown D.C.
Conference registration is limited to 150 participants, so please register early.
