Zixiang “Max” Chen

Video footage shot by Zixiang “Max” Chen, a sophomore business administration major, aired on PBS Nightly Business Report on June 16, as part of the news program’s “Planet Forward” feature. “During spring break, I visited Greensburg, Kan., with the GW Alternative Breaks program. Greensburg is a town that got wiped out by a tornado in 2007. However, now it is rebuilding itself as one of America’s greenest cities,” Chen explained. “The citizens’ stories were so inspiring to me that I filmed a lot of footage during my stay, and put together a video about Greensburg after returning to GW.”
