Scheherazade S. Rehman, professor of international finance/business and professor of international affairs, was a keynote speaker at the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Economic Advisory Committee (made up of chief economists for major global banks) dinner on the topic of “Global Sovereign Debt Crisis” on June 13. The ABA committee meets in Washington every January and June to discuss national and local economic and credit conditions and to present its outlook and recommendations to the Federal Reserve Governors and other prominent economic policy officials.
