Stuart Levy

Stuart Levy, assistant professor of tourism and hospitality management, was mentioned in The Washington Post Capitol Business section on June 12. The article, “To fill thousands of hotel jobs, Marriott turns to Facebook gaming,” describes Marriott International’s efforts to recruit staff from communities with little exposure to the lodging industry by crafting a Facebook game to simulate the complexity and bustle of the hotel business. For Levy, however, questions linger about whether “tweets” and Facebook posts translate to reservations.
