Research Examines Financially Fragile Households

Annamaria Lusardi, professor of accountancy and economics, co-published the study “Financially Fragile Households: Evidence and Implications” with Daniel Schneider of Princeton University and Peter Tufano of Harvard Business School. The study found that almost half of all Americans say that they most likely could not come up with $2,000 in 30 days.
