Annamaria Lusardi
Annamaria Lusardi, professor of accountancy and economics, was quoted in the article, “Elizabeth Warren and the CFPB: How to demonize an agency before it even opens,” on the website Understandinggov.org on May 21. The article discusses the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB, and its efforts to improve financial documents so Americans can better understand financial information. “The financial crisis happened because people didn’t understand the complicated financial documents they were signing,” Lusardi said.
