Kristin Lamoureux, visiting assistant professor and director of the International Institute of Tourism Studies, lead a study with the Adventure Travel Trade Association last July, which found that adventure tourism is a rapidly growing tourism market and a viable economic opportunity for countries seeking to develop tourism. This study was featured in the May 13 article, “Boomers Eye Adventure, Bucket List,” on CNN.com and TheBostonChannel.com.
