Paul Swiercz

Paul Swiercz, professor of management science, presented his SWIF teaching method at a two-day workshop attended by 140 faculty members at Anhui University of Finance and Economics in China on April 18.  His seminar for young teachers, which is entitled “SWIF Learning: A Guide to Student Written-Instructor Facilitated Case Writing,” discusses how professors can motivate students to participate in the lecture, thus improving the quality of case teaching by the combination of teachers’ guidance and encouragement and students’ self-written cases.
