Jorge Walter, assistant professor of strategic management and public policy, was featured in the May 2 article, “Old Friends: “the Holy Grail” of Networking,” on Fins.com. The article references a study entitled, “Dormant Ties: The Value of Reconnecting,” which was published in the journal Organization Science. The article, co-written by Walter, Daniel Levin of Rutgers University and Keith Murnighan of Northwestern University, discusses new research that found that dormant contacts could be “the holy grail of networking strategy.” The article was also reprinted on Wall Street Journal-affiliated sites It-Jobs.Fins.com and Sales-Jobs.Fins.Com as well as ViewsWire.com.
